New update of map.geo.admin.ch of the 03.07.2025

New features and bug fixes are available on the federal geoportal under version 1.57!

The following points are particularly important in this update:

• New offline function - map.geo.admin.ch now saves the last 100 tiles displayed so that maps can also be used in areas with poor network coverage, such as on hiking trails and their closures.
  This is a first version that will be improved in the future.
• Minor updates to the draw and measure function – for example, you can now display the descriptions of the drawings on the map.
• Report problem window – it is now possible to upload PNG files.
  Warning: the file cannot be larger than 10 MB.
• You can select and deselect various elements using CTRL + left click.
